City of Ontario announced “If I Were Mayor” student contest

ONTARIO – The City of Ontario announced that recently the “Ontario City Council voted to have the “If I Were Mayor” student contest this year! In this contest, Ontario resident students are invited to share their creative ideas about how they would govern the City of Ontario and local winners are submitted to a statewide competition. 

There are three grade-level contest categories and first, second, and third place in each category are awarded a cash prize! For more information, please visit the City Council page on the city website. 

The deadline for submitting entries is 5pm Monday, March 28, 2022.
